Representatives of the Knights of Rizal – Florence Chapter were present at a reception organised by the Philippine Honorary Consul General Sir Fabio Fanfani, KGOR to celebrate the first Filipino winner of the XIII Florence Biennale, Michael Garcia Villagante.
Villagante’s winning piece, “Ang Pagtahan“, triumphed over 1000 other works from 400 artists. Leading the delegation from the Florence Chapter is Deputy Chapter Commander Sir Armando Cruz, KCR. Present were Sir Carlos Simbillo, Sir Francisco Santiso, Sir Alfredo Lugue, Sir Mario Cadauan, and Lady Sue Dena.
