In celebration of the 11th year of its chartering, the Knights of Rizal – Firenze Chapter will hold the 11th Anniversary Reception & Commander’s Ball on 17 November 2024, 18:30 in Florence, Italy.
The Firenze Chapter of the Order of the Knights of Rizal was chartered on 16 November 2013. Learn more about its origins.
The venue will be La Pavoniere, a historic villa in city centre of Florence set in the middle of the Cascine Park. A 3-course dinner will be served with drinks. The event will start with a reception where guests will be received by the chapter leadership. This will be followed by a few congratulatory messages and performances while dinner is being served, followed by dancing.
Dress code is black tie and evening dress or Filipiñana. For those with decorations/awards, see Philippine Executive Order 236 – Implementing Rules and Regulations for guidelines. Attendees are strongly advised to follow the dress code to maintain the dignity of the occasion.
Requested Contributions are €40 for the first 20 payments while all others are at €50. Pay your contributions to any KOR-Firenze Knight or Lady or write to info@kor-florence.org.
Funds raised will be used for the Ilustrado Initiative, the 2025 social mobility initiativesof the Knights of Rizal Firenze Chapter for the benefit of the Filipino community of Tuscany.
To get to the venue from Stazione Sta. Maria Novella, guests may take a car or taxi: (10 min.) or the tram (T1.3 Villa Costanza): 8 mins + 10 min. walk. Parking is available.
